Pictures on a Postcard - a holiday to write home about

Welcome to The Stables, opening for the 2022 season, our chalet accommodation is the perfect choice for a getaway by the sea. Each chalet is tastefully decorated and styled, they come with everything that you need for an extended self-catering stay on the Norfolk Coast, plus some little extras such as stargazing skylights above the big comfy beds, walk-in shower rooms & use of the communal BBQ & firepit.

The Stables have been lovingly named after our Coastal surroundings, you will have a choice between 4 rooms that we've named Cockles, Misty, Sandy and Pebbles!

Every room is suitable for 2 adults or 1 adult & 1 child/teenager, with enough space and all the facilities you need to spend a few days or more by the beach.

Just as with all of our accommodation, The Stables are dog friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend with you on your travels. Here in Hunstanton, we are a very dog inclusive place to visit, a vast amount of pubs, cafes and restaurants allow dogs inside, there are doggie water bowls here there and everywhere, and of course our beaches are full of dogs running around chasing waves! Some beaches do have exclusions at certain times of the year so please do check before you let them off the lead.

We have so much to offer here on the Norfolk Coast, from watersports to long-distance walking routes, to historical monuments and estate houses, with so so so much more in between. There really is something for everyone, from the adventure seekers to the relaxing getaways types, you will find something to make your visit to us here one to remember.

Just a few minutes stroll left out of our resort you will come to Heacham South Beach. Our beach is a very special one in that it actually faces West, we are a West Coast location on the East Coast! This means we get an amazing sunset over the horizon, people come from miles around to view our sunsets, and for those, not in the know, it can come as quite a surprise.

There are miles and miles of coastal walking, we are famous for our Coast Path. A short stroll can lead you into the Town of Hunstanton, a very rural coastal town full of charm and character. Further along, you come to Old Hunstanton with a standout Lighthouse and Red Cliffs, you can't miss it!

We are very local to The Sandringham Estate, Norfolk Lavender & Burnham Market (the Chelsea of Norfolk!). There are so many more great places to mention, a fantastic resource for finding out what is local to us and the events in Norfolk this year is Visit Norfolk, here you will find all you need to know to make your visit with us the best it can be.
