In our Shepherd's Huts, you and your loved one can enjoy a unique and intimate vacation experience. Spend a romantic weekend in your own private, cosy shepherd's hut, surrounded by the natural beauty of open fields and our natural lake. Sit at the dining table inside the hut, relax in the deck chairs outside, or gather around the fire pit in the evening to take in the views across the rolling landscape. Your shepherd's hut is perfect for you no matter the season, providing warmth and cosiness in the winter and fresh air and cooling in the summer.
All sorts of romantic activities and sights are within easy reach of your hut. Only a three-minute stroll away, the beach provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening on the town. Take a bottle of wine and relax together in the peaceful countryside whilst you spend quality time together. After the sun goes down and the wine is gone, you can stroll back hand in hand to your cosy shepherd's hut.
Our Glamping Shepherds Huts have been handcrafted by a team of skilled craftsmen and are located just outside of the quiet countryside Town at Holt, just down the road from the beautiful Holt Country Park and not far from the Norfolk Broads!
Each hut is designed to replicate the rustic and historical nature of generations of Shepherds Huts while including the modern conveniences and creature comforts of glamping. The windows provide great airflow into the hut, and the walls are well-insulated to keep heat in when the weather is cold and out when it's hot.
Each Glamping Shepherds Hut has a double bed, kitchenette, wood burner, bar seating, outside area with deck chairs, BBQ, Hammocks and a fire pit to enjoy the lakeside views. Guests staying in our Glamping Shepherds Hut also have their own shower en-suite and limited lighting. Wood, fire starters and matches are provided for your wood burner and a bag of charcoal is provided for your BBQ.
Please keep in mind that the site has
no electricity for devices, no internet and little mobile service as we are a back-to-basics campsite with
the aim of reconnecting visitors with nature and preserving the delicate
balance of the local ecology as much as we can. Glamping water and electricity can at times be troublesome, so if you have any medical conditions that require the use of this infrastructure, please do not rely on these facilities being stable as they are in domestic use and we can not guarantee a constant 24-hour supply.
