We have implemented Covid19 precautions to help us all limit the risk that Covid19 poses, please see our posters around the site for information.
DO NOT LEAVE HOME IF YOU OR SOMEONE IN YOU GROUP HAS ANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS:
Check the NHS website if you have symptoms
We have guests visiting us from a 150mile radius and it's our job and yours to ensure that we do not spread or catch covid19, not just for our own benefit but for the wider community at large. If an outbreak were to occur here at our venue, your visit here would mean that you would have to self-isolate for 14 days, the venue would have to close due to the outbreak and Nigel & Carol would have to self-isolate.
As of September 24th, we will be asking our guests to login using the NHS QR code. Posters will be displayed in key positions. By logging into the app - which is anonymous, our guests will register that they've been to our venue and will then receive important public health messages if needed. This is just another way in which we can all help control the spread of the virus.
Please maintain social distancing at 2metres. the virus is less easily spread in the big outdoors but it has not gone away.
Limits on the number of people you can see socially have changed. From Monday 14 September, when meeting friends and family you do not live with (or have formed a support bubble with) you must not meet in a group of more than 6, indoors or outdoors.
By working together we can limit the risk and still enjoy all of what this beautiful part of the Norfolk Coastline has to offer.
So, please for everyone's sake ensure that you follow our covid19 precautions and think HANDS, FACE, SPACE!
This area is to be used as only a toilet block; no washing, no cleaning teeth, no hairdryers, no shaving.
Hazard tape marks high-risk areas, if touched ensure hands are washed for 20 seconds after you have touched any of these areas. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE BEFORE YOUR CLEAN YOUR HANDS
One of the main ways in which we can all limit the risk which Covid19 presents is to wash our hands frequently. Please see this NHS video for how to do this properly. With this in mind we have added extra water taps on the camping paddock and installed a hand gel dispenser at the entrance of the toilet/shower block. Please use alcohol gel before you enter and after you leave.
The new NHS COVID-19 app launches on September 24th. This will help businesses meet the legal requirement to record the contact details of customers, visitors, and staff on their premises. We will be displaying signs at key areas to make it easier for our guests to log in and register. This will allow NHS Test and Trace to contact customers with public health advice should there be a COVID-19 outbreak.
We now provide orange buckets for you to use on your pitch. Please collect hot water from the outside (previously) washing up area and take this back to your pitch. Please water our trees with the waste water!
We are advised that the risk of covid19 is greater in hot, steamy conditions, it is for this reason that we ask you to limit your showers and to leave the door open after use to aid ventilation. Please use the disinfectant detergent provided before and after you use the shower and use the hand gel when you leave.
We ask you not to brush your teeth or use a hairdryer in the toilet block as covid19 is airborne spread. Do not wash in the shower block for the same reasons, take a bucket of hot water back to you site and wash there (water the trees with the waste water).
We emphasise that the best way to limit the risk of covid19 is to wash our hands and parents must ensure that children do comply with this guidance.
Please note we do not allow unaccompanied children to use the showers. If they want to wash the sand off their feet please use the outside shower/ dog washing area. If you do not know where this is please ask.
The toilet/shower block and hot water area are cleaned a minimum of three times a day, with all high touch areas cleaned with a disinfectant detergent spray. There are sprays containing disinfectant detergent in all areas for you to use before and after you use the facilities.
We comply with our booking partners' guidance on cleaning areas, and have 'we're good to go' accreditation staus from Visit England.
We have reduced the amount of soft furnishings in all of our rooms and we remove those which remain at the end of your stay for washing. any which cannot be washed are quarantined for 72hrs before we reuse them.
These are removed at the end of your stay and washed and steam ironed before reuse.
These are all washed and cleaned with detergent disinfectant after use. We will be installing a dishwasher in the breakfast room in order to perfect this process.
We ask you to go for breakfast in the breakfast room between 8am and 10pm. Please respect social distancing and we ask no more than 4 guests in the breakfast room at one time. Please use only your allocated table during your stay.
Wash your hands and use the gel before entering the breakfast room and again on leaving the room. This is located outside the room on the wall.
use your napkin when turning on the kettle/toaster. There is detergent disinfectant spray to clean any surfaces which you may touch, but do not spray directly onto electrical equipment.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE FRIDGE OR ACCESS ANY OF THE CUPBOARDS IN THE ROOM - THESE ARE FOR STAFF USE ONLY.
We now provide small fridges in all of the bed & breakfast rooms for your convenience and these are cleaned with detergent disinfectant. Any food/drinks stored in the fridges during your stay are within your control- we do not check the 'use by dates' of your property and we ask you to take them with you when you leave.
Please enjoy your breakfast!
