Our campsite, offering pitches to all tents, vehicles and touring caravans, is also dog friendly. You and your dog will be able to spend time by the coast in your camping accommodation, sharing our campgrounds with other dog lovers. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away and you will often find dogs running around, splashing around in the shallow seas and generally having a fabulous time!

Onsite we have a handy doggy shower for you to wash their mucky paws off after a great day of adventures on the Norfolk Coast. Dogs need to be kept under control at all times of course and extra care to be taken around campfires.

The Stables are stylishly designed and tastefully decorated, they feature an over-bed skylight for star gazing on romantic evenings, come with an ensuite shower and have a small kitchenette with everything you will need for a self-catering stay.

Outside, The Stables have traditional stable doors, p[perfect for letting in the morning sunrise while still maintaining some privacy, they also feature outside bistro seating for you and your dog to enjoy a morning coffee. Our Sel Catering, Norfolk Coastal Cottages are perfect for an extended stay on the Norfolk Coast. Each Cottage has an open-plan living and dining room, and plenty of space for the whole family to gather together to spend some quality time together by the beach.

The Old Barn is a 2 bedroom cottage that also has the option to add The Churnery as an annexe for extended family members. With a bed for your pet, bowls and treat, your dog will be able to curl up by the faux fire and rest his bones after having all the fun there is to have here by the beach on the Norfolk Coast. Outside seating and the use of a communal firepit will allow you all to enjoy meals alfresco.

The Dairy is a 3-bedroom cottage with plenty of space for you, your family and your pets. The master bedroom is south facing and you will be treated to fabulous views of the morning sunrise. The second bedroom has bunk beds that are great for the kids. The third bedroom is a single and has stunning views out towards the sea.

What are the Best Dog Friendly Things to do in Norfolk?

There are plenty of great things to do in Norfolk with your dog by your side. For starters, you can explore one of the many beautiful beaches in the area. Take a hike through one of the many scenic trails or parks. Or, if you're looking for something a little more low-key, simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around town with your furry friend. No matter what you choose to do, you're sure to have a great time when you experience all that Norfolk has to offer with your four-legged friend by your side.

If you don't fancy taking your dogs to the beach then there's plenty more to keep them entertained. There are many lovely country walks around our cottages, or if you'd rather take a drive out of town then we recommend: The Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path - this is an ancient track which runs from Holme-next-the-Sea along the north coast of Norfolk for around 53 miles all the way through to King's Lynn. 

Start at Hunstanton Beach and enjoy views across The Wash towards Lincolnshire. This stretch of coastline is also popular for birdwatching so make sure you bring binoculars!

Norfolk Coast Path

The North Norfolk Coast Path - this is a scenic walking trail which runs from Hunstanton all the way up to Cromer. The most popular section of the path starts at Weybourne and through to Sheringham, taking in the pretty seaside village of Holt on the way. Start your walk by taking a steam train from Holt station on The Poppy Line, or if you want to avoid stairs then pick up the coast road towards Sheringham where there are ample parking spaces!

Holme Bird Observatory - located along an unspoilt stretch of coastline on Holme Nature Reserve, it's one of only a handful of bird observatories in England with various hides and observation decks providing panoramic views across The Wash. If you're lucky you may spot some migrating birds coming over from Lincolnshire!

Holkham Hall

Holkham Hall - any trip to the North Norfolk Coast would not be complete without a visit to Holkham Hall. The hall is surrounded by beautiful parkland and there's plenty of space for your dog to enjoy a good walk or run around!

If you like walking with your dog then there are plenty of walks through the sand dunes taking in views across The Wash towards Lincolnshire. Further along, this stretch of coast lies Snettisham Beach which also welcomes dogs all year round - it's about 10 minute drive from us or 25 minutes by bike!

Hunstanton, nicknamed "Sunny Hunny", is a pretty town with a stunning sandy beach that's perfect for a walk or a game of fetch with your four-legged friend. and there are also plenty of shops and cafes where you can enjoy a well-earned rest afterwards.

Old Hunstanton beach is one of the best beaches in west Norfolk that allows your dogs all year round. This beach is a must-visit while in the area.

Old Hunstanton is one of our favourite beaches because it's so beautiful and has miles and miles of open space, making it perfect for a long run with your dog. The beach is also a lovely place to have a picnic, with views of the sea on one side and the stunning Norfolk coastline on the other. 

The only downside to Old Hunstanton is that it's quite popular with tourists in the summer months, so you might want to visit during the quieter winter months if you're looking for some peace and quiet.

The Coach & Horses

If you love to take your furry friend out for a pint, then look no further than The Coach and Horses. This traditional pub is located in Dersingham, just 10 minutes from Hunstanton by car. Your dog will be welcome inside the bar where there are plenty of comfortable seats to relax in after a walk around the village. There is also an outdoor seating area which is perfect on a sunny day. Dogs are allowed throughout most of the pub so you can enjoy quality time with your pet while enjoying some great food and drink.


The Dersingham Bog Nature Park & Visitor Centre

The Dersingham Bog Nature Park & Visitor Centre is part of the Sandringham Royal Estate- this is situated about six miles away from our holiday guest houses near Hunstanton and has something for everyone to enjoy!

There's plenty of open space for walking with spectacular views over the coast, three nature trails (one suitable for wheelchairs) plus several observation towers/hides located throughout the reserve as well as an interactive exhibition area where children can learn all about wildlife. This centre has a cafe with outdoor seating and welcomes dogs too!

The Rose & Crown

The Rose & Crown is another great option for dog owners as it is located in the village of Snettisham. The pub has a large beer garden which is perfect for playing fetch with your four-legged friend. There are also plenty of seats inside the pub where you can enjoy some traditional pub food while your dog enjoys a bowl of water.
